APIVITAL® PASTE FOR BEES

Besides liquid bee feed we also supply APIVITAL® paste for bees, whose basis is sucrose. It is paste designed to replace "honey paste" that many beekeepers make by themselves.

APIVITAL® paste

Sugar patty for bees APIVITAL® paste is composed of supersaturated sugar mass of very fine sucrose microcrystals, as big as 1/100mm. These crystals are separated from each other by so called "liquid phase", which prevents coalescence of the crystals.

APIVITAL® paste main use is:

  • refilling food reserves in early spring (stimulating)
  • when splitting colonies
  • refilling food during natural supply failure
  • early winter feeding

Spring stimulating, splitting colonies, refilling food during natural supply failure and winter feeding place entirely different demands on the use of various bee feeds.
Using our APIVITAL® syrup and APIVITAL® paste you will gain excellent products for each of the bee-breeding demands.

The paste feeding technique

If you would like to feed the bees with paste both simple and quickly, we recomend this method of feeding:

Prepare one or more slices of paste yourselfs home this way:
- cut off required amount from APIVITAL® paste by knife
- pack the cutting, comfortable it is possible by clingfilm (plastic wrap)

On your apiary then:
- slit the clingfilm and uncover one side of the prepared piece of paste
- put this piece of paste on frames of top case of the hive, and so, that piece of paste fit tightly to the top part of frames by its uncovered side
- bees will take away all paste, nothing can dry
